Stephanie Peifer, PA-C
Stephanie Peifer is a Physician Assistant to Dr. Sean Sutphen. Stephanie's practice includes assisting Dr. Sutphen in surgery and seeing patients during clinic. Stephanie earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with specialization in Health Promotion from Michigan State University. She then secured a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Wayne State University, graduating with honors.
Stephanie is from the Northern Suburbs of Chicago and upon graduating from Wayne State University, she returned home to join Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, where she specializes in knee and hip replacement. Stephanie's passion for an active lifestyle is the drive behind her career to help keep her patients active. When Stephanie is not at IBJI, she enjoys yoga, running along the lakefront, and spending time with her family. Stephanie continues to be an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and is Board Certified by the National Commission of Physician Assistants.
Jake Paler, PA-C
Jake Paler is a Physician Assistant to Dr. Sean Sutphen. His practice includes assisting Dr. Sutphen in surgery and seeing patients in the clinic. Jake completed his Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience at the University of Tennessee and later earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies with honors from Chamberlain University.
Jake is from the western suburbs of Chicago and, upon completing his master’s program, joined Illinois Bone & Joint Institute, where he specializes in hip and knee replacement. Jake enjoys building meaningful connections with patients and is passionate about helping them return to the activities that matter most. Outside of work, Jake enjoys exercising, fishing, and spending time with friends and family.
Jake is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery.
